As nurses, we have a duty to provide the highest standard of care to our patients. Surgery and practice nursing is a specialist role, demanding the highest professionalism and expertise. Our services are highly valued by patients and vital for the safe, and effective delivery of care.
The impact of the proposed funding cuts to surgeries such as Slaithwaite Health Centre and surgeries nationally will be catastrophic to communities, patients and the wider NHS.
Across the many different roles we cover, we work extremely hard as a team. Now, more than ever, that team including our patients and community have come together to fight the proposed future cuts. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our community, GP and reception colleagues and call on all other nurses out there to join our campaign to save our surgeries.
